Our Mission
We are a group of Muslim individuals dedicated to promote respect and understanding among all belief and faith traditions through organizing settings for the exchange of ideas and social interaction. We believe that establishment of dialog environments will be a means to appreciate diverse opinions and eliminate the stereotypes often assigned to ‘others’. We invite and encourage sharing of various perspectives, which will inspire and illuminate us in our endeavor to fulfill this mission.

The Principles of the BMDG
We, the BMDG members, deemed it appropriate and prudent to set out a few criteria of etiquette to be followed during and after the activities that are to happen in our group’s calendar.
In order not to breed any enmity and cause hurt feelings, the BMDG expects both our speakers and guests NOT TO:
- Digress into political arguments,
- Criticize other faiths causing people discomfort in their minds and souls.
We believe that if we all follow these basic principles of courtesy, a more fruitful and friendly atmosphere will be created even among those who normally find themselves disagreeing with each other, which is incidentally the main objective of our group.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
